To Gym Or NOT To Gym…That Is The Question

Honesty Post...be forewarned...

I've been on a fitness journey the last 7 months and it's NOT been a smooth journey!  Eating healthy isn't hard for me.  Working out is a horse of a different color.  Now that I'm perimenopausal and hitting 50, I have to fight for every ounce to come off.  

Friends!  Why do female bodies hate to drop the lbs?  Is it hormonal or is it just my body betraying me.  I love to laugh. This is no laughing matter.  It's WAR!

I'm not giving up and will make myself go to the gym! It's all mind over matter anyway, right???  I swear liposuction is sounding better and better. 😂😂 

In my complete honest opinion, the only good things that make the gym tolerable are sports bras, yoga pants and new shoes to workout in. Oh, and a fantastic workout music play list!!!  Those are my only motivators at this time.  That's all I got in me today...

I promise, I'll continue to go and I'll continue to complain every day. On the bright side, it is doing what it's supposed to.  My clothes are fitting better.  The numbers on the scale are going down.  

If any of my local friends need a workout buddy, I volunteer as tribute!  

Say a prayer for my fellow gym rats around me.  I'm not the sweetest sweating mama!
