Congratulations, Sister! Confusion Strikes Again!

I hate when confusion rears its ugly head and I begin to question what to do, if the decision I made was right, if I am aligned with God's will and the noise in my head is so loud that I cannot focus on anything, especially not God's voice.    Obviously, we should go to God in prayer with a heart of gratitude and ask for guidance, discernment & clarity before making any decision.  This time, he's silent.  Just letting me sit in my mess.  I've learned that his silence isn't always what it seems.  He may be working on it, behind the scenes and it's our time to remain still.  Some times he's already answered us and we haven't listened or refuse to listen.  For me, most of the time, he's answered me and I didn't like the answer. This time...I just need to be still and remind myself who he is and stand on faith that he's working things out for me, to bless me and not harm me.  He's a mighty God and he will intercede when he's ready, on his time, not ours.  But he's always got our backs and will protect us from things meant to harm us.   God has given me a few verses to reflect on during this time of silence and reflection and I'll share those below.  I'm also sharing something I came across Tuesday that is a gentle reminder that it's okay to sit with him and be in the moment...be still and reminding myself that he's in control.

Remember, our God is not the author of confusion.  Allow him to give you peace over whatever you're struggling with.

As always, sweet friends, I love you but God loves you more.

1 Corinthians 14:33 For God is not the author of confusion but of peace, as in all the churches of the saints.

Psalm 46:10 He says, “Be still, and know that I am God;
    I will be exalted among the nations,
    I will be exalted in the earth.”

Exodus 14:14 14 The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.”

Isaiah 60:22  The least of you will become a thousand,
    the smallest a mighty nation.
I am the Lord;
    in its time I will do this swiftly.”

Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Philippians 4:6-7 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
